Cody is stranded!
Cody is enroute to come home to us, he's been deployed seemingly forever but it really hasn't been that long I guess. He left the United Arab Emirates on Wed night and has been stranded in Scotland because the plane broke down. He was supposed to fly to California, Arizona then be here by Saturday (tomorrow) around lunch time. It may be another 3-5 days until he can even leave Scotland! I know this is whiney of me, but I am literally devastated! I feel sick and awful inside and I don't know how I can bear another few days. I know it sounds ridiculous when I put it that way, but really I am so, so sad- Please, please pray that something else will work out, another plane will come or they will be able to fly commercial or something so he can come home to us sooner than later. :(

oh my gosh you go and complain! You never do! And yes you are so worn out I can only imagine thinking he was coming home and then it not working as planned. so sorry! I will pray he gets home now! I am so excited for you!
I my heck, that would devastate me also. I'm so sorry. We will pray for a miracle. Love you and think of you often.
I complain when sacrament meeting goes over 10 minutes. Come on, I get it! You deserve to complain! You prepare yourself for a time frame and when it keeps going, you just aren't ready for it. I am soooo sorry. I will wish (and pray) him home quickly! I think you have every right to be done. If you need a break or someone to talk to, call me!
I am praying that he can get home sooner to you. I can't imagine being so close, yet so far away. Thinking of you guys!
